Does a legal will need to be witnessed?
Absolutely yes. A document may have some value as “evidence” of intention but the requirements in New South Wales have strict provisions for witnessing of the signature of a legal will. We strongly recommend you obtain legal advice as to the correct manner for the formal execution of a legal will.
